Director of Sales
Description
As BDR, you are the company's first point of contact in our target markets. Your responsibility is to contact pre-selected leads to generate business opportunities by qualifying potential clients. Working in the sales team, you are in close contact with the Research team and Account Management team to align on qualification criteria and best practices. Proven sales skills, self-motivation and eagerness, are just some criteria for success, a high performing BDR must possess.
Responsibilities
Qualifying new leads into potential opportunities to fuel the pipelines.
Managing and educating leads to increase the network and knowledge of WasteHero.
Having a complete understanding of the company and making sure to comply your activities and decisions with the overall strategy.
Follow sales processes and use sales tools to document sales activities and suggest/share improvements
Always be looking for new business opportunities.
Primarily work tasks
Creating business opportunities by qualifying potential leads using cold contacting.
Setting up and carry out meeting with leads in order to discover:
Pains
Needs
Current solution
Scope/ budget
Time horizon
Gather feedback from leads and share internally with the team
Setting up meeting with potential opportunities for the AE
Nurturing relationships by having daily contact and managing potential customers through the pipeline.
Manage the internal CRM keeping the system up to date at all times, allowing for clear visibility of pipeline and lead-flow
Document all sales-related activities to gather useful data to ensure information, that can contribute valuable evaluations and improvements.
Being in regular contact with the rest of the sales team to share progress and agree on future activities.
Experience Required:
Bachelor´s degree required
Post graduate degree preferred
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
Results-driven personality with efficient time management
A willingness to keep learning and pushing yourself to learn and grow.
Excellent organizational skills
Hunger for building something new and innovative through organic growth strategies
Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
Language skills in Swedish or Norwegian is a plus
