Fortitudo Technologies is a fintech company offering novel investment technologies as well as quantitative and digitalization consultancy to the investment management industry.
The job
You will work on a broad range of projects by assisting the development and maintenance of the codebase:
Researching and estimating generative models for high-dimensional time series
Performing mathematical and numerical analysis while developing optimization and simulation algorithms
Analyzing current implementations, optimizing code performance, and suggesting refactoring
Must-haves
You hold a BSc and are pursuing an MSc in applied mathematics, mathematics, mathematics-economics, computer science, or similar
You have achieved excellent academic results and specialize in machine learning, data science, and optimization
Python programming experience including the most common data science and machine learning libraries (SciPy Stack and TensorFlow)
Nice-to-haves
Experience with:
Linux using the Ubuntu distribution
Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines
Cloud computing, Docker, and Kubernetes
Julia or low-level programming languages
Practicalities
Work location is in central Odense and in walking distance from Odense Banegård. It will be possible to work remotely, but you should be comfortable commuting to the office of a regular basis
You will work 7.5-15 hours / 1-2 days per week and have flexibility in relation to planning your work schedule
Salary is competitive and commensurate with your qualifications
