About the role 

As a Queue-it Senior SRE at Queue-it, you’ll help us scale our systems to manage ever-more challenging load demands. Site reliability is the core of what we do, so your expertise will be crucial to our operations. 

For example, you’ll be pivotal in resolving issues such as:

• If we go from no traffic to 10 million requests a minute, can our infrastructure scale up fast enough?

• How do we keep our services running as smoothly as possible, even if RDS or other AWS services are down?

Responsibilities 

Maintain AWS infrastructure. Accountable for creating and maintaining the AWS infrastructure for building and releasing world-class software.

Deliver unbroken monitoring and quick incident recovery. Collaborate with an empowered product team of developers, product managers, UX, and fellow SREs to ensure high-quality 24/7 monitoring and lightning-fast response times. 

Support a smooth development process. Create CI pipelines, ensure all team services scale effectively, and assist with general DevOps. 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with software development and DevOps after graduation 

• An academic degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or similar

• Excellent understanding of the AWS product suite

• Solid understanding of SQL databases; we use Postgres

• Experience in C# .NET

• Excellent professional English (Danish not required)
