The position and reporting line
This position is new in Mikkeller and will focus on HR-administrative tasks whereof payroll and employee administration are the most important responsibilities, which would include employment documents, applying for salary reimbursements, coordinating the yearly Employee Feedback and –negotiations, administrating our pension- and health insurance schemes as well as communication with the Commune of Copenhagen.
You will report directly to Thilde Tobiesen, our Head of HR, but you will work closely with our Finance department as well as our Retail Managers who are running our DK based bars and restaurants.

Structuring and organizing the administrative part of HR will be your main focus during the first year working with us. You are the future colleague we are looking for if you get a kick out of developing and optimizing HR related processes, which contributed to efficient and professional cooperation between HR and all the different departments we operate with on a daily basis. You will have the opportunity to place your footprint on the development in Mikkeller HR.
You will be offered the opportunity to participate in a Copenhagen based HR-network via Mikkeller, which is organized by DRC (Danish Restaurants and Cafees / in Danish: Danske Restauranter og Cafeer). This network offers a ton of interesting lectures in subjects that circulates around political changes, work law and business related elements in the industry – all elements with the HR employee in focus. All meetings gives plenty of possibilities to network with other HR professional in the service and hospitality industry, as well.

Key tasks
HR-administration:
Payroll (salary reporting in close teamwork with Finance, registrations in pension- and payroll systems, supporting employees with questions about salary, pension, insurance etc.)
Employee administration (Employment contracts and other employee documentation, apply for salary compensation with the Commune, registration of absence, coordinator of the yearly employee feebvback-conversations, coordinator employee surveys, coordinate internal and external courses for employees and coordinate paperwork for interns)
Supporting employees in use of the recruitment system, intranet and other registration systems
Coordinate and book transportation and commendations related to business trips
Supporting the Event department when organizing company gatherings and –parties, travels and Christmas gifts etc.
Approval of relevant invoices for the HR department, registering data at Danmarks Statestik, update information on the intranet
Update employment handbook and support employees on administrative questions related to same
Support Head of HR with coordination of the Company’s AMO-guidelines (Work environmental Organization / in Danish: “Arbejdsmiljøorganisation”).
Recruitment:
Understand and support colleagues in the administrative part of the recruitment process (write job ads, support relevant departments with screening and interviewing process when recruiting)
Coordinate onboarding/exit together with relevant people managers (continue development of the company’s onboarding procedure with Head of HR, training of employees, execute exit conversations, responsible for executing introduction days to new colleagues etc.)
HR-law:
Support Head of HR with latest updated relevant laws as well as support people managers about same (for example Danish work law, GDPR, Danish Vacation law etc.)
Your background
In order to succeed in this position key will be that you are structured and carry strong communication skills in English (and Danish is an advantage). If you find Excel and ad-hoc checklists to be super awesome – you will love this job.
It is ideal if you have an HR education on BA level and 1-3 years of work experience. It is not a requirement that you have been working prior with all tasks formerly described, but if you have a solid understanding of about half of them, we have a strong starting point. Work experience is considered a higher advantage than education, so if you have been working in a HR department during the previous 2-4 years but have not executed a relevant education – you are still considered very eligible for applying for this position.
