Data-driven Game Business Developer

Trophy Games went public on First North in April 2021, and the ambitions for the coming years are high. We strive to put Trophy Games on the map globally, with our own developed games and by acquiring game studios with great potential and synergies. For the coming journey, we’re looking for a person who can find, grind and destroy data in order to transform these into valuable game- and business-developments. As our Data-driven Game Business Developer you’ll be joining our small but committed data science team on a full-time basis in our pursuit of greatness in gaming.

VALUABLE AND IMPORTANT TASKS

The job has multiple sides to it, but it falls primarily into three buckets:

• Game LiveOps

  • You have hands-on experience in working with game LiveOps including

    • System setup and improvement

    • A/B testing 

    • User segmentation

  • You're capable of delivering fast, precise and actionable analysis of data

  • You can conceptualise and deliver LiveOps campaigns to improve game performance

• Game design

  • You can deliver qualitative game analysis e.g.

    • In-game user behaviour/experience 

    • In-game economy and balancing 

  • You’re the person who can pin-point and extract the most valuable data sets from within each of our games in order for every game to be as splendid a user experience as possible

• Data science

  • You have solid expertise in SQL, Python and/or other programming and data extraction languages

  • You can work with a diverse range of data sources and aggregate these into valuable insights and presentable dashboards

On top of feeling, more or less, comfortable with the above, you probably have some of the following qualities and competences as well:

• You have a curious and explorative mindset enabling you to find and modulate data into knowledge and visa versa

• You can design experiments to verify assumptions and hypotheses proposed either by you in the data science team or management

If you can dazzle us with your capabilities in artificial intelligence, machine learning, magnificent dashboards or some other valuable data grind and visualization methods, please don’t be shy.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Your competences probably stem from both your academic and professional background. You might have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Business Analysis or something along those lines, and have at least a 2-3 year career in relevant fields behind you.
