We are Dockstr, a brokering and marketplace company active in the ocean world. We combine traditional network-based brokering with digital technology to get more transactions realised. Think of Blocket, Hemnet and your local real estate agent and now replace the properties, the second-hand items and the retail products with marine equipment such as underwater robots and diving equipment. That’s us.
Our ambition is to transform the way equipment is traded within the marine world as this sector lags behind others in terms of digitalisation up-take. We are a small and experienced international team with a strong industry track record and are looking for a new colleague as head of sales.
WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?
Dockstr has a fortunate position where it is in contact with hundreds of organizations around the world every month. We have great assets including our leading marketplace, our efficient digital processes and our network but have not yet realized our full commercial potential. We believe you will help us in making this happen and in that context, we see you as a future leader of our organisation.
Lead/participate in setting and delivering our sales objectives;
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers;
Identify and capitalise on our best business opportunities;
Engage via calls/online meetings with our leads, existing customers and partners to support business growth;
Own/improve our sales process in connection with our CEO;
Play a fundamental role in building our sales organisation/culture.
1-2 years of international B2B sales and/or business development experience;
The ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics;
A proactive approach to sales, with a strong desire and ability to win and grow business;
Self confident and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a cross-cultural business environment or as part of a wider team;
Proactive, resourceful and goal-oriented attitude;
University degree in Sales, Business, Economics or related/equivalent.
