What We’re Looking For
We are a small but fast-growing software company that makes retail execution and communication (yeah, sounds dry, but hold on) delightful and simple through consumer-inspired products. We’re looking for a skilled Designer who can join our vision of making the daily workday for employees in global retail companies a joyful experience with fewer barriers. If you like B2B software tools such as Slack, Figma, and Pitch - then you'll probably like Atobi as well.
Your Week as a Designer at Atobi
It’s Monday, and your day as a Designer starts with a weekly meeting with the Product Team. Here we will discuss our tasks, the bigger goals, and what we should prioritize. Some days you’ll make smaller UI adjustments. Other times you’ll work on bigger and more complex user flows, iterations, research, prototypes, or user testing. After the meeting, you’ll book some time for no interruptions, deep work. Some days you’ll get interrupted by the Sales Team who has just landed a big opportunity - and what they need is exactly your visual skills to make a gorgeous sales pitch deck. The next morning one of our frontend developers reaches out to you with a few questions on the design you handed off last week. You spend the next hour on a few ideas you just got for our branding, and then you finish off the week by attending the weekly Friday Demo. Here the developers will present how they improved the product based on your input, and you will present the work you have done this week.
We Expect You to...
Have a high skill level in English (almost all communication is in English).
Have 0-3 years of practical experience in delivering strong UX/UI.
Be experienced in Figma (if you already know Sketch or Adobe XD, then you’ll learn quickly).
Have a solid user-centric mindset and an eye for visual details.
Have the ability to translate feedback and research, the customer wants, and complex business problems into user-friendly and clean interfaces across desktop and mobile devices.
Find joy in working in an agile team.
Be able to balance quality and time when designing.
It’s a Bonus, but Not a Requirement, if You
Have experience with Webflow.
Are familiar with design thinking (empathize, define, idea, etc.)
Knows CSS.
