We are looking for a curious and self-directed Finland-based DevOps engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Hive Helsinki, you will own our infrastructure: you will maintain and optimize our existing systems, choose and implement new tools and technologies, and write tools and integrations to make our pedagogy more efficient.

You will be responsible for improving monitoring and observability with the right tools, writing our CI and CD pipelines, and collaborating with the team to implement best practices. Our stack lives on bare-metal servers and mostly runs on Docker containers. However, we are looking to migrate partly to cloud in the future, which makes experience with cloud platforms a great advantage.

Requirements

We expect you to be self-directed, responsible, and committed to building efficient, well-documented, and secure systems. You should be comfortable with analyzing product requirements to produce technical specifications that go beyond coding to cover testing, monitoring, and future maintainability. We hope you are a problem-solver who asks good questions and collaborates effectively with teammates.
