Partner Manager Germany
We are looking for a Partner Manager Germany to join Whistleblower Software's Partner Sales Team on our journey to discover and drive performance throughout our German market and work closely with our WBS team to achieve our partner sales goals.
The WBS Team consists of individuals from international backgrounds who are working closely together on scaling our operations globally.
The Partner Manager Germany will be a key role in our team and you will be responsible for co-designing our commercial partnerships function and overall strategy and then rolling out and managing it in Germany together with our Head of Global Partnerships and Head of Direct Sales. You’ll be discovering and driving performance improvements, negotiations strategy & revenue planning across the WBS organisation (private and public sector organisations, and more) and co-building the foundation to increase recurring revenue in the business.
We expect you to be a genuine and proactive team player as you will need to embrace ambiguity at a global scale and approach business challenges in a data-driven and structured manner. It is key to have great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once, with strong prioritisation skills.
Your daily adventures will include:
Lead effective and win-win negotiations and partnerships at a German level and beyond with the WBS team to meet partner needs and enhance customer experience at the same time. Understand and help shape each partner’s high-level strategy.
Identify new partnership opportunities. Build and manage a full funnel of the potential partnerships, their status and forecast of their impact to the whole platform.
Account Management. Nurture, maintain and strengthen relationships to co-develop key performance management metrics for all of your partnerships making sure that their performance can be tracked and rightfully followed up on by the team. Track contract conditions to make sure that everything that was agreed upon is also followed to ensure forecasted results.
Stakeholder Management. Work closely with the WBS team to answer questions quickly and make sure that the partnerships that you are working on will benefit our business. In addition, you’ll be closely working with our broader teams such as Direct Sales, Product & Development, Marketing.
Co-design new policies that will allow partnerships to thrive. Support a partner in creating impact, provide training and coaching and be a partner’s voice internally.
Deliver and report your strong results and growth vs targets, constantly improving your performance and setting an example for all of your peers.
Be data driven. With each partnership that we grow we get several additional data points. You need to be an analytical thinker with a strong analytical mindset, who will do anything to make sure that your decisions and propositions are backed up by data. In addition, you need to be able to forecast the business impact of your potential deals in order to assure every stakeholder that this is the right thing to do.
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of previous relevant experience in commercial roles in B2B SaaS, and proven track record of partner sales.
You have excellent communication skills and empathy.
You are a strategic thinker with an analytical mindset who loves to solve problems (advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills are a plus).
Be a creative owner and proactively find solutions to business problems. You self-improve.
You are tech savvy and won’t be too lost in technological dialogues when discussing general IT topics. Advanced HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator skills are a big plus.
You are organised. You deliver on time & do well in a fast-paced environment.
You are social. You can easily network with people of all backgrounds.
Deep understanding of doing business in Germany, including how to approach and close senior decision makers.
Native and/or excellent communication & written skills in German & English.
Our plan is to set up an office in Germany soon this year. Depending on your location we would choose the office location and it would be required to work from the office afterward.
Our headquarter is now in Aarhus, Denmark.
