Introduction about VoiceDiagnostic 

Did you know roughly 1.4 million Swedes suffer from voice problems? Neither did we a few years ago. VoiceDiagnostic is an early-stage health tech startup that wants to create a more personalized and effective voice therapy for the many people who are affected by voice problems in their everyday life and work. We are developing a platform through which voice therapists can create, adapt, and assess treatments while patients get support in carrying out their treatments from home. Our team stems from cross-sectional research in medicine, speech language pathology, and mathematical statistics. We are now looking for a junior backend developer to join our small team in Malmö and work side by side with our CEO and CTO in bringing the product to the market. About the role 

We are looking for a junior developer who is interested in growing with our start-up. As part of our team, you will get the chance to learn within and outside your field, be given creative freedom, and have a variety of responsibilities. 

You will be working with backend on a cloud-based solution, where the work involves building and maintaining an API. You will be in charge of building the solution, but will have support from the team when needed. 

You will at times get to take on other tasks such as: 

• Perform beta tests 

• Participate in strategic planning and certain promotional events 

• Work on frontend / web development 

Perhaps some tasks will be new to you and for us that just means an opportunity for you to grow your skill set. 

Desired skills 

These skills do not necessarily have to be from professional work experience. 

• Programming in C# / .NET 

• Some experience with SQL or databases 

• Acquainted with the Azure Portal 

• Able to take on and solving a problem singlehandedly 

• Motivated to keep learning 

Nice to have 

• Past experience with audio development 

• An understanding of microservices 

• An understanding of RESTful APIs 

• GraphQL
