Hunome (Hunomics Ltd) helps humanity make sense of itself. We are a startup and commercially experienced, diverse team of 13. 

We are making a difference in how we humans build comprehensive understanding on multidimensional themes to make sense of the world around us.

We are at an exciting stage in our journey, having launched Hunome in April 2021. 

We’re now looking for a backend developer who actively contributes and boosts our product development.

You will report into the CTO on a day to day basis, while also working closely with the development, the design and product teams.

Technology and development environment

Our team has all aspects of a startup covered but seeks reinforcements in the development team to add to the expertise around Node.js, Neo4j and a bonus would be Python.

Also, we work with agile methodologies, especially Scrum. If you have a working experience with tools such as Slack, GitHub, Jira and Confluence, that's considered positive.

Skills

• Deep understanding of full-stack (React, GraphQL, Node.js and Neo4J) application design, including APIs and front-end development 

• Experience in designing, building and deploying large scale cloud platforms Azure

• Experience in building and maintaining a continuous delivery pipeline (GitHub)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Great attention to detail

• An analytical mind

• Preferred: Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)Preferred: Hands-on experience in building microservices

Working Conditions: 

• 20hrs per week on average, arranged flexibly

• Remote team - mostly living in Helsinki, Finland (but also outside of Finland)
