Insai is working on developing a wearable medical device that can both read and stimulate the brain non-invasively. We are a fast-growing team of neuroscientists, machine-learning and hardware engineers, developers and designers all working on solving neurological disorders with brain computer interface technology.

The Role

We are looking for a Neuroscientist / Clinical Researcher to be a part of our core team. This person will be responsible for the strategy, development and implementation of scientific research and operation. You will develop and lead projects through pre-clinical and clinical development. You must be comfortable being a scientific communicator as you will find yourself speaking with key stakeholders with different backgrounds. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that will thrive in a rich learning environment where you will be collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the pre-clinical development strategy.

• Co-ordinate the activities of pre-clinical development with external/internal teams.

• Contribute to the authorship and review of scientific publications and presentations.

• Draft study proposals and reports.

• Preform preliminary experimental data analysis.

• Network and establish relationships with research and medical partners

• Convey scientific and technical information to a diverse group of audiences

• Communicate with regulator authorities, investors and key stakeholders

Requirements

• PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.

• Strong communication skills

• Experience conducting research studies (planning, execution and analysis)

• Excellent organizational and management skills

• Highly motivated, resourceful, fast learner and flexible

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical experience in neuroscience

• Experience with EEG, fNIRS, MEG or ECoG

• Experience with TMS, tACS, tDCS or other non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) techniques

• Experience in medical device industry or other highly regulated environment
