As a Visual Product Designer, you will be responsible for the hands-on design of the product’s interface components, flows, and interactive controls and elements. You will be working under the guidance of an experienced Head of Design and in tight collaboration with frontend engineers who will implement your designs in a modern and responsive web application that works smoothly both on mobile and desktop screens.

We think that this role could be filled by a relatively junior designer, although relevant experience from designing web-based digital product interfaces is required. Since you will be working closely with an experienced team, this presents a great opportunity for learning and career development.

The role is a full time engagement but we are open to discussing both employment and freelance contracting arrangements. Capchap has a flexible hybrid working environment where you can work both from home and from our office on Vasagatan in central Stockholm.

Responsibilities

• You play a vital role in a cross-functional team, working in an iterative process together with our Head of Design, Head of Product, and engineers to produce ready-to-implement designs of our product interface.

• You will also collaborate with our Head of Design in continuously developing our visual identity and design system, especially in regards to how it is implemented in our product interface.

About you

• At least 1 year of digital design education.

• At least 2 years of UI & UX experience with digital products and services.

• Experience from professional work in Figma and/or Sketch.

• A good understanding of modern responsive web-app design.

• Experience of designing with a mobile-first mindset.

• Structured and detailed oriented person.

• A strong digital design portfolio.

• Highly proactive, balance speed and quality to meet product delivery timelines.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English, Swedish is a plus.

• Experience from working with design systems is a plus.

• Able to work from our office in central Stockholm at least a few days per week - i.e. not fully remote.
