Pandatron is a Helsinki-based early-stage coaching automation startup on a mission to help people become better versions of themselves week by week. Our vision is a world where leaders see a 10x return from investing in their people. Pandatron makes the usually expensive service of business coaching accessible to all - not just top management.
We are building a new way for businesses to take care of change management and their employees’ development through automated coaching - informed by insights from psychology and adult education. All without leaving their normal workspace in Teams/Slack or using additional apps.
We have recently raised funding from Gorilla Capital and a group of angels who share our vision about a more accessible form of coaching.
We are still early, so don’t be too worried about all of the specific responsibilities. Roles can be crafted to fit your interests and personal abilities. We look at your future outlook, not just your current skills. In this role, you will help us generate growth by looking holistically at marketing, communications and product. If metrics-driven and fast-paced startup environments are your jam, you might like it here.
Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Growth at Pandatron you will:
Work with the team to design and implement a robust and data-driven growth plan.
Help in us in defining the customer acquisition strategy, related budgeting and core KPIs.
Extensively experiment with and scale customer acquisition channels.
Make use of various approaches, including paid and conversion-optimized marketing (Google Ads, etc.), working on SEO + assisting in refining our content (blog, social media, etc.), and working closely with sales. But ultimately the route you take is based on your own best judgement.
Work directly with the CEO and COO/Head of Product to grow customer understanding in order to optimize the purchasing journey.
Next-level career development expectations
Taking an active role in making strategic decisions about our growth and its development. It's too early for us to be set in our ways.
Building an internal process for understanding our users' needs and addressing them via the right channel.
Aside from just your previous experience, we are looking at how you work - more than what you know.
You thrive in uncertainty
With us being very early on, things are bound to change quickly. We hope you are able to act proactively and independently in a role where not everything is fully defined. Maybe you can be part of defining it yourself.
You are a natural learner
Learning is at the very core of our product - so the drive to learn proactively and on the fly is also something that we value in each and every person we work with.
You care about our mission
We’d love it if you cared about improving people’s lives and helping them become better versions of themselves. :-)
You are honest and caring
None of us is infallible and we are bound to go in the wrong direction from time to time. Calling out faulty assumptions, letting us know when we’re going in the wrong direction, and owning up to mistakes are important to us. But even more important is helping people learn from those mistakes.
We are unable to let you play with real Pandas, but we do offer:
A caring and equitable workplace
Strict hierarchies aren’t really our thing so we want to make sure everyone has a voice and feels at home. Our small team already has four different nationalities so we are committed to welcoming everyone regardless of their background.
We are flexible and fully remote
Where you come from doesn’t matter. We are building a fully remote organization to fit modern needs. Living that nomadic lifestyle that doesn’t fit with the usual 9 to 5? That’s all good with us. Work is supposed to serve your life, not the other way around.
Something to pay the bills + equity
Apart from receiving a solid salary, you will also be part of our employee stock option plan. We have not set it up yet, but we will soon!
Grow with us and have an impact early
Pandatron is still early on so you’ll have a chance to have a real impact on the way we help our users as well as how our organization is built. This means there’s also an opportunity to progress while we grow.
Here's what one team member said about working with us:
"Constant new challenges and new projects give me the opportunity to always update my skills set. Besides career growth, it is also very important to me that the Supervisor I'm working directly with every day has helped me a lot with my personal growth as well. The 1:1 catching up sessions really make me feel like I have someone wise to guide me and I don't have to be afraid of asking for help."
Hours: full-time or part-time (not less than 20h/week).
Starting: ASAP
Location: fully remote, even though many of us reside in Helsinki.

Our team: You will be working with Dima, our CEO, who has experience as a CEO in 3 companies, leads our investment and sales efforts, is an investor, does PhD on Teal, Holacracy and DAOs in his spare time, and used to work for top Finnish corporates as a management consultant.
Process:
Test task that should take you an hour or so.
Introductory chat (20-30min) - exploring both your and our motivations and backgrounds with our CEO.
In-depth chat & interview (30-60min) - you'll go into more detail with our CEO and go through a few exercises. We will have a few team members present so you can also meet us.
