Platform6 is the last year opened startup house in the heart of Tampere, and home to over 40 early-stage startups, and more than 10 organizations and partners working to support the startups on their way to international expansion. 

We are looking for a new team member to lead the pre-startup program.  You’ll get to work with an international, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial core team on day-to-day operations, and influence Platform6’s future. While working for Platform6, you will be in the middle of one of the fastest-growing and most collaborative startup ecosystems in the Nordics!

Position is part-time, 2 days / week, 4 months project starting from December 2021.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Marketing communication and collaborating with partner organizations.

• Scouting teams with interesting business ideas in events and conferences.

• Onboarding teams with interesting business ideas to the Platform6 pre-startup program

• Working as a contact person for the program from the Platform6 premises, at least one day of the week.

• Organizing monthly events for the pre-startup program teams

Qualifications:

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Finnish is a plus)

• Experience marketing, and the potential and willingness to learn more

• You are a social person and a strong team player 

• You have the ability to multitask, and you thrive in a busy environment

• You have a strong, independent attitude and an ability to plan and execute your work

• You're great at both working by yourself, and being a good networker and matchmaker

Bonus Points if you have:

• Previous experience in startups

• A strong interest in entrepreneurship and technology trends

• Passion for the startup ecosystem is a big plus
