As a senior product designer, you will be joining our force in our HQ in Aalborg or working remote. Specifically, you will be part of our product team which dedicated specialists.

Understanding the management needs of a craftsman and designing market’s best app option

As a senior product designer at Apacta, you believe in knowledge before assumptions. And with this mindset you investigate and observe our customers’ needs to ensure the perfect fit when you later define and create app design.

You carry the “soul” of the Apacta platform and product and continuously interact with our customers to maintain an in-depth understanding of their needs and how our product enables them to satisfy them. This means you visit our broad range of craftsmen in their environments and arrange meetings where you brief them on design and solutions.

Specifically, your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Master testing assumptions in user interviews, dialogue and MVP’s to gather knowledge which will lead you to make the right product decisions.

• Design user interfaces on our platforms, including working with visual design, UI, user flow and UX.

• Create product strategy in collaboration with product manager.

• Collaborate with product manager, product owners and engineers on design development.

Proactive designer with strong analytical mindset

You are naturally open-minded and curious. These traits make you a skilled observer and analyser of costumer’s experience and needs. As a person, you have great flair for building sustainable business relations, more so, you are a skilled communicator who knows the value of eye level communication.

Moreover, you are driven and responsible and you have the ability make important decisions when the need arises. You are able to take a comprehensive view of complex areas, navigating and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines, and you excel at collaborating with many different stakeholders.

Professionally, you bring:

• A strong design profile with +5 years background working with UI and UX.

• A background within the craftsman industry.

• Experience with B2B and SaaS.

• Experience with scrum and agile workflow management.

• The ability to speak Danish or German natively, as well as mastering English fluently.
