Carla was founded in 2020, with strong VC backing. We are now in an exciting growth phase looking for a Product Manager for our "Operations" product area.
About the role As a Product Manager for Operations, you’ll have a key role in Carla's continued growth and success. We are currently accelerating our investments in smart and scalable products for our Operations within workshop, inventory, and logistics. Knowing what to build and how will be crucial in our operational success being able to, in the end, delivery an amazing customer experience. You will operate within the Product organisation but collaborate closely with the COO, operations managers, service personal and the rest of the operations organisation. You will lead an autonomous product team with both UX design and developers. In this role, you will own both the product strategy as well as the product quality and final delivery. Chances are that this team will grow into more of a Product area over time, with multiple Product teams.
The products you build should provide our operations team with tools to track and manage the full operations process. The solutions you build will communicate with both internal and external systems/tools, from booking home delivery to purchasing spare parts. Here's a few things we see motivates you:
Own product strategy, vision and roadmap
Lead and plan high quality development
Build holistic understanding of product complexity
Equip our teams with efficient tools for day-to-day operational work
Crowdsource requests, ideas, problems, features with many collaborators/stakeholders.
Who are you?
At Carla, we look for people who have that magical mix of being great at what they do, show a strong drive, obsess about consumer experience, whilst being humble and eager to learn. In this particular role, we believe that the following traits could be valuable:
5-7 years of professional experience.
At least 2-3 years product management experience
Ability to understand detailed tech needs and complexity
Good sense of ownership and interest of warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations
Strong analytical capability with attention to data and business impact
Skilled communicator with experience in managing cross-functional projects and various stakeholders
Also, it would be a big bonus if you have experience from:
Managing/developing products and systems for complex supply chain or logistics flow
Managing and building up product teams
Operating in a remote-first/only setting
