Sounds good to you? We have four exciting projects coming up in which you can get your hands onto promoting sustainability in Copenhagen!

  • Help citizens to explore Copenhagen’s biodiversity

Big cities are just gray and lifeless? That's not true! With our biodiversity project, we want to draw attention to the life around us and focus on the biodiversity of plants, mammals and insects in Copenhagen. To do this, we want to put on a fun event where everyone can become a citizen scientist for a day. Biodiversity is a topic close to your heart and you want to help raise awareness? Then this is your project!

  • Organize a Hackathon on green mobility with Region H.

Help us create a hackathon where students, experts and other actors co-create solutions that address local mobility challenges in the Greater Copenhagen Area. By focusing on one specific sector for a two-days period we enable allocation of all the resources needed to come up with real solutions which can be applied and implemented in a real context. During the event students will be guided and supported by experts within mobility and get challenged in workshops. If you are ready to take meaningful climate actions and want to do it with like-minded people, this is your chance.

  • Do you want to speak your sustainable mind in a podcast series?

For our podcast project, we are looking for eager students to try their hand at hosting and producing a podcast show that covers all topics related to climate change and environmentalism.  You want to conduct exciting interviews with experts? Are you passionate about a particular aspect of sustainability? Do you have experience with sound or editing? With our in-house podcast station, we offer you the opportunity to let your creativity run free!

  • Are you passionate about Start-Ups?

Have you ever wanted to provide insights and solutions for how a start-up focusing on solving sustainability issues can scale? This project will revolve around students helping a small tech start-up which is focused on better waste management and recycling. More specifically, you will provide insights and ideas on how they can scale and grow their company in order to develop their technology for better waste management in Denmark further. Apply today and find out more!

Roles at the bottom of the page! We are an interdisciplinary community of students and recent graduates, who: 1. create the most thriving crossdisciplinary student community 2. empower students through hands-on programmes and projects about sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship, and 3. engage in collaborations with the private, public and civic sector. Station is a non-profit volunteer foundation dedicated to youth communities, well-being promotion, and empowering students. Our mission is to create meaningful and inclusive communities that allow students from across the country's higher education institutions to transform their engagement, curiosity, and ideas into positive change for themselves and the world. We are located in the former Frederiksberg police station at Howitzvej 30, which, following extensive renovation funded by support raised by students themselves, now serves as a modern hub for activities and innovation for students and graduates. Station is a meeting point for young people, students, and graduates who wish to participate in new and meaningful value-driven communities, challenge themselves in their fields, and be inspired by new mindsets and perspectives. Each year, we welcome over 50,000 visitors to our house, representing a diverse range of students and graduates with varying expertise, nationalities, and cultures. We serve as the nexus for approximately 250 regular members, 24 student organizations, and 100 volunteers annually, who engage through our ongoing volunteer initiatives, learning programs, and over 60 yearly activities. Station is operated by a professional secretariat that carries out tasks related to e.g. community building, project management, event management, communications, fundraising, business development, partnerships, and more. By collaborating closely with volunteers and student initiatives, we work to ensure transparency and cross-collaboration within our community and organisation, where our members, volunteers and visitors are the heart of our organisation and at the forefront of our movement.
