We are searching for ambitious interns to help expand xNomad, a fast growing proptech company, into the Nordic markets. xNomad is on the forefront of the retail industry offering a digital marketplace for pop up spaces.
xNomad is a marketplace for popup stores that connects brands with unique retail & vacant pop up spaces.
There are at least 30.000 vacant spaces in Sweden right now and our goal is to fill these spaces with amazing pop up experiences. 1/12 spaces globally are estimated to be empty. Retail is currently going through a transformation and we at xNomad believe that pop-up is the future of retail.
We've been working with innovative and exciting brands such as Voi, Hedvig, House of Dagmar, Husky, Vanmoof and Bergamotte. We’ve been funded by STING, Almi Invest VC and Antler. We have raised three rounds of capital and are currently in a stage of rapid growth. We are also part of the global WeWork Labs network.
Working closely with the founders, you will be a vital part of our team. Your role will be included in the inner circle as we’re still a small company in significant growth. You will get great insights into the way of running a successful startup. Through this role you will gain broad experience from the fields of business development, sales, marketing and communications to enter any fast-paced work environment
The Sales Intern has broad work tasks that may vary on a daily basis and short notice. You will work closely with the rest of the sales team to optimise the business development activities and streamline and increase efficiency. Responsibilities for this role include:
Be based in Stockholm and have part-ownership for all automated outreach activities for all our Nordic markets
Manage and steer the performance of our day-to-day sales activities
Work with internal teams and consultants to create outreach material
Work closely with the Head of Business Development to set overall strategy and targets for the market performance and development
Leverage data and analytics to optimise key metrics around customer acquisition.
Handle all incoming customer response
Researching and contacting on-trend Nordic and international brands and agencies to create awareness of xNomad’s Pop Up spaces and services available to them.
Take on a role as a senior account manager for some of the hottest brands like Stronger, Voi, Bergamotte and Kry.
Do what it takes to hit targets and deadlines, including proactive demand generation and finding creative ways to build a long term pipeline
Source and initiate potential partnership opportunities
Building and maintaining strong, leads lists, pipelines and designing sales processes.
Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Entering your second or final year at university, alternatively a newly graduate with a BS/MS degree.
Ambitious and flexible problem solver: You aim high, adapt easily to rapid changing circumstances and find solutions to issues on the go
Fully hands-on and self motivated drive: You are keen to getting your hands dirty and closely emerging into the day-to-day operations and solve whatever challenge or opportunity emerges
Data driven and analytical mindset: You like working with numbers and derive your actions from them
Outgoing, pedagogical and strong communicator. You enjoy interacting with people and external stakeholders, can adapt your message to the receiver and do not hesitate to speak with more senior executives
Professional fluency in Swedish and English
