Our team is growing, and we’re now looking for an experienced bookkeeper (regnskabschef/bogholder) to join our operations team here in Copenhagen and help us stay on top of our finances. You will work closely with our CFO, to ensure our accounting and bookkeeping is done to the highest of standards. 

About Stykka:

Stykka is a Danish design-driven construction tech startup on a mission to help forward-thinking developers to build climate-positive. We have crafted design to manufacturing software that allows us to design and manufacture built-in interiors, like kitchens, cabinets and space optimised student housing, sustainable, circular and cost-efficient. We have already delivered our first 1000+ homes and have a rapidly growing pipeline of projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping (debit/credit).

• Experience with e-conomics is preferable

• Process and control vendor invoices

• Issue Invoices to our growing customer base

• Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Responsible for bank payments and bank reconciliations

• Assisting with auditing and financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, etc.).

• Preparing public reports (VAT, “EU salg uden moms”, leave of absence etc.). 

• Executing payroll functions in a timely manner such as salaries and commission plans.

• Financial follow up on on-going projects

• Handling a number of versatile administrative functions.

And also:

• Handle the month end close process

• Build checks and balances together with our CFO

  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven bookkeeping experience

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

• Customer service skills and a positive mindset 

• Native Danish speaker and strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.

• Self-driven and strong sense of responsibility.

• A good eye for detail, structured mindset and proactive approach.

• Can manage multiple priorities concurrently and thrives in a high-tempo environment.
