Univrses is a 3D Computer Vision and Machine Learning company based in Stockholm, creating high-end technologies for autonomous systems. We work in several different areas, but our main focus is on self-driving vehicles, mobile robotics and smart city development. Our team consists of hard-working and friendly people from all over the world with diverse backgrounds and expert knowledge in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, physics, math, software development and more

The 3DAI™ City platform is a scalable answer to the growing demand for data about the urban environment. The data is made accessible by deploying a smartphone on a vehicle already operating in the city. Images from the smartphone camera are processed ”at the edge” by Univrses’ Computer Vision and AI in an Android app.

Your role

• You will develop and maintain the Android app that is at the heart of our Smart City platform 3DAI™ City

• You will use your experience to design efficient solutions for our Android app

• You will collaborate closely with our designers, Computer Vision scientists and product owners to iterate fast and test new ideas on the app

• You will create cutting-edge technologies for applications that will help change the way we live our lives

Who you are

• You have 5 or more years of industrial experience.

• You have deep knowledge of modern Android operating system.

• You are experienced using modern Android development tools.

• You have experience with the Java Native Interface (JNI).

• You have released at least one app or have a project you can tell us about

• You know how to write readable, maintainable and object oriented Java code.

• You are self-driven with a strong sense of quality

• You love working in an environment where you constantly experiment and iterate quickly

• You value team success over personal success

• You have experience working in an agile environment

• You are experienced or interested in developing apps in iOS (Bonus point)
