As we’re onboarding our community, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Brokerage Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the next phase of Freetrade’s growth. 

A great opportunity for those who have some experience working in Corporate Actions and/or Dividends and who would be interested in applying their expertise within the brokerage or fintech space in an environment that is constantly evolving. An ideal role for those who would be keen to not just provide excellent Operational support but contribute ideas and help to shape the team for the future.

At Freetrade, you will:

• Become an integral member of the Brokerage Operations team taking responsibility for queries from all areas of the business and our customers.

• Develop your understanding of the operational processes related to Corporate Actions and how they impact Freetrade and our underlying clients.

• Provide end-to-end technical Corporate Actions support to the business and our clients, including:

  • Monitoring of announcements

  • Client notifications

  • Reconciliation of entitlements

  • Management of elections

  • Proactive monitoring & settlement of market claims

  • Accurate processing of payments to underlying clients within agreed SLAs

  • Completion of FX transactions

  • Responding to client queries

• Work towards achieving professional qualifications (IOC)

About you:

• You will have at least 2 years experience in Corporate Actions and/or Dividends

• You will have a keen interest in learning about the brokerage/fintech environment

• You will be willing to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced working environment where you can act on and share ideas

• You are fluent (both written and spoken) in Swedish and English

• If you have a Swedec license thats a plus

• Love a challenge, be able to make an impact and take ownership of your work

• Understand the risks associated with Corporate Actions and the importance of an effective Corporate Actions team

• Be comfortable challenging existing processes and suggesting ideas for improvement
