Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a talented Digital Workforce Engineer to join our stellar team in Stockholm.

The Digital Workforce Engineer will be responsible for aligning collaboration technologies with business strategies to support boosting the company's productivity. This role will develop roadmaps for capabilities available in Microsoft 365, Jira and other leading digital collaboration platforms in accordance with the industry's standards & best methods. The engineer will work closely with business users & maintain the existing architecture to drive adoption of new capabilities for supporting digital collaboration for Northvolters working in offices, factories and from home. The DWE will simultaneously act as a system administrator for Jira, meaning that they will need to possess an in-depth knowledge of all Atlassian products and familiarity with major tools/plug-ins - while also being responsible for support, administrative tasks, staff training/education and mentoring.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designs and engineers solutions that align and meet business needs while evaluating tradeoffs between cost, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Works in partnership with Business & Service teams, Product teams & Infrastructure teams to design, engineer, and deliver mature scalable and robust business capabilities and identify & implement optimal engineering solutions for the company.
Leads engineering and planning initiatives related to capabilities, future roadmaps, operations, and strategic planning to drive business and technology innovation of the organization's top and bottom lines.
Designs and engineers architecture solutions that maximize reuse and are efficient, maintainable, scalable, stable, highly available, portable, secure, and implemented correctly by following and enforcing organizational policies and goals for IT security, change management, and operational risk.
Contextualizes information for the correct audience level into clear and concise materials with thoughtful attention to detail and quality.
Derives maximum business value from capabilities available through Microsoft 365, Jira and other cloud collaboration platforms.
Works with business users and leaders to align legacy processes to digital collaboration capabilities.
Designs and engineers the service management processes in Jira and other tools for maintaining the technology platforms in production.
Set up and support new projects, project boards, roles & complex workflows within the administered applications.
Develop interactive automated procedures using Jira.
Work with Jira filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, custom fields, screens, schemes.
Monitor the suite of products to ensure potential issues are identified early (e.g. Health checks, database checks), by opening support tickets with the tool provider when needed.
Creates organization-wide standards for main digital collaboration platforms, including Jira
Conducts proof of technology evaluations and pilots with business users.
Provide training to users on new/updated systems
Develops roadmaps, governance, and adoption plans for emerging collaboration technologies.
Provides the latest and related support for production issues as needed
You will be in charge of setting up and executing the long-term strategy for the company-wide implementation of Jira Projects, SM & its data visualization and reporting capabilities.

Education/Experience
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience.
3+ years of working experience in the above-mentioned collaboration tools.
3+ years of experience performing Jira implementations including workflow configuration, schema configuration, and JQL.
Track record of successful achievements in engineering and administration of Jira Software, Confluence, OpsGenie, etc.
In-depth knowledge of Jira workflows, scripting\automation languages, REST APIs, permissions, and customizations
Experience setting up and administrating Jira Align
Provide administrative support, architectural support, and backup & recovery support
Records of formal Atlassian administration training are a plus
Experience and interest in the manufacturing industry is a plus
Be up to date with the latest methods described in the Jira Development Cookbook
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent written & oral English skills, Swedish is a plus
Able to write complex custom JQL
Be familiar with scripting languages
Highly organized and result-driven
