We are looking for a People and Culture Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resource functions, including recruiting, supporting, training employees. Ideally, someone who can build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company while fostering a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.
Prepare and review internal employee initiatives and benefits packages
Administer health and life insurance programs
Implement training and development plans
Plan and take part in performance review sessions
Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days)
Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
Forecast hiring needs and ensures the recruitment process runs smoothly
Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
Process queries from employees and candidates in order to respond in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field
Proven work experience in similar roles, such as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist
Good understanding of the full recruitment process
Solid problem-solving and team management abilities
An excellent communicator with a friendly, professional, and outgoing demeanor
Fluency in Finnish, any other language is also considered a plus
Hands-on experiences with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and platforms
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
Strong knowledge of international labor legislation and payroll processes
