Help Take Parking Into The Modern Era

Do you want to build modern applications using the latest tools and technologies, in an industry that needs a technological boost? Then you might be our new frontend developer. Parkeringskompagniet is a SMC working to modernize parking, and has been around for roughly 5 years now. You will be part of a young and dynamic team who is working fully remotely!

We build with:

• Golang

• React

• Typescript

• Docker

• Mysql

We are currently in a transition phase, moving from a Java back- and frontend, to a backend build in Go and a frontend build in React with Typescript. We use Mysql as our database, and have containerised our entire workflow with Docker. We are using Heroku to host both our back- and frontend.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience under their belt, with a solid grasp of the fundamentals of frontend development and experience with React or similar (i.e. Vue, Svelte). You care about user experience and test driven-development, making applications that work well and look good. You want to work independently and have the discipline to plan your own day.

We place high value on well-tested code, so experience with Jest, React testing library or similar is a big plus. Furthermore, we use Docker for our development flow, so experience with Docker or containerised workflow is preferred.

Who are we?

As mentioned above, we are a SMC building modern solutions in the parking industry. We are in the process of building our development team to be fully remote, so you will help shape the future of our team’s workflows. We are allergic to unnecessary meetings and value action-taking, meaning we let our developers plan out their days as they see fit, only having a few mandatory meetings throughout the week.
