Stykka is looking for a tech-savvy software engineer, who can take the lead on our technical development and help us build the digital tools to transform the construction industry. We are in a rapid growth phase and in need of talented people to join our team of trailblazers.

Stykka is a Danish design-driven construction tech startup on a mission to help forward-thinking developers to build climate-positive. We have crafted design to manufacturing software that allows us to design and manufacture built-in interiors, like kitchens, cabinets and space optimised student housing, sustainable, circular and cost-efficient. 

Our software consists of three parts:

• A design tool that allows our designers to easily adapt our products to the client’s request while getting instant feedback on the price, material efficiency and environmental impact

• A manufacturing component that can optimise the production batch and send production files straight to our network of distributed manufacturers

• A maintenance platform that through digital twins keeps track of all parts of each piece of furniture and allows the end-user to upgrade, refurbish and repair their Stykka furniture.

We would like you to...

• Be able to write and ship high-quality code

• Be self-driven

• Have robust full-stack experience

• Entrepreneurial inclination

• Have experience with the development of applications in either CAD, CAM, AEC, game development, or other 3D graphics

• Be proficient in designing, documenting, and deploying long-lasting easy to maintain infrastructure

• Build cool tech with a meaningful purpose 

• Have a can-do attitude. We expect you to bring a “get shit done” approach when everyone else is busy. You’re in charge!

Our current tech stack is based on Elixir Phoenix, Postgres, C#, but we’re currently considering exploring new technology, that would allow a switch. You will have a strong say in whether we should either continue building on the existing framework or help us create the foundation for scaling on the platform/ERP. Future interesting technologies could also include Unreal Engine, and Autodesk Forge. You will be integral in choosing the right technology for the job.
