ParkShare is a fast-growing startup in need of a Graphic Designer Intern who can help us design and improve the look of our website and mobile application. We are looking for a creative and driven intern with a curiosity to learn. Working in a startup can be both challenging and thrilling as things move quickly. ParkShare is a sharing economy platform for parking spots, where private people as well as companies, can rent out their parking spots when they don’t need it and thereby earn an extra income. At the same time, the parking spots become more easily accessible for drivers, who need parking. The Graphic Designer Intern will therefore be essential in order to ensure that the first impression our customers get with ParkShare is a clean and professional website and native application.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Design and improve the look of the ParkShare website, web- and native application.

• Create and enhance the ParkShare brand book including logo, fonts, banners, etc.

• Create mock-ups for new versions and features for web- and native-application.

• Improve ParkShare’s pitch deck in collaboration with the CEO.

• Collaborate with the SoMe team involving smaller edits or designs for ParkShare’s social media.

• Collaborate with team, improve and further develop UX/UI.

• Based on your preferences, you can create animation and explanation videos.

Qualifications and skills:

• A general understanding about Front-end Development from a design perspective.

• Photo and video editing skills in programs like e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator or Premier. Experience with Figma is an advantage but not a requirement.

• Independent and good social skills. There will be many individual tasks that still involves a lot of teamwork with different departments, so it’s important that you thrive in these conditions.

• Fluent in English, as ParkShare is an international workplace so the main language we speak here is English.

• Studying Multimedia Design, Graphic Communication or something similar. As long as you are enrolled at a university, VIA, or any other university colleges, we are interested in having you on our team.

• Living in Denmark as the office is in Aarhus and the internship will take place here.

We are located in The Kitchen in Aarhus, which is the city’s biggest community for entrepreneurs, so we work alongside many other amazing startups. Working hours are generally from 8-16 o’clock, but we are flexible in terms of hours per week and will adjust it to your study program’s schedule. This also means that if you already have a student job, we will work with you to find a schedule that fits it all.
