We are mobile first and our app enables users to buy and sell shares, ETFs and investment trusts, with no commission and low flat fees. 

We are scaling our team to Europe and Stockholm, Sweden will be the first location.We recently completed our Series B funding round bringing the total capital we raised to over £60m. We are only just getting started. We currently have over 850,000 customers in the UK and we’re scaling fast - in 2020, we added 250,000 users and so far in 2021 we have added over double that number!

Our team is currently just over 190 people in the UK and we are on track to double headcount year-on-year, as we look to support our growing user base and drive international expansion - we’re scaling across the world in London, Brisbane, Stockholm, and Vancouver to name a few.

We are looking for an exceptional Operations Coordinator to join our newly established team in Sweden. This is the perfect opportunity to grow with the role and being part in democratising the world of investing.


You will: 

  • Project manage the opening of our new office in Stockholm, of which you will have full facilities management responsibility long term:

    • Reception duties

    • Develop and maintain office supplier relationships

    • Manage health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office

    • Negotiate and manage office insurance contracts

  • Support sourcing efforts to identify high-quality candidates for Freetrade Sweden non-tech roles.

  • Provide administrative support for the MD of Sweden to enable our regulatory application to the Swedish FSA.

    • Arrange travel and accommodation plans.

    • Offer diary management support, including interview scheduling and personal commitments.

  • Organise, optimise and audit Freetrade’s systems, databases, and procedures.

  • Fulfil adhoc project and administrative duties as required to enable the smooth running of the office. 


About you:

  • You ideally will have experience within a fast paced startup/scale up environment.

  • You will have 3-4 years of experience in a similar role. 

  • You will have an open and agile attitude. We are looking for someone who'd be open to anything put in front of them. We are looking for someone truly gritty! 

  • You will have full systems competence and confidence, ideally with G Suite. 

  • You will be able and happy to work within the confines of confidentiality.


The process for transparency 🚀

The whole interview process for this role - in short. You will initially have a phone interview with one of our internal Talent Specialists, followed by a hiring manager interview with our Managing Director of Sweden, a cultural and behavioural interview with two of our operations team, with the final round being a task presentation to our Managing Director of Sweden and our Associate Director of People.
