SkenarioLabs is a team of 14 professionals coming from various backgrounds, and we are looking for a new data engineer to join our team.

Role

We’re looking for a full-time data engineer for analysing and validating unique datasets and providing insight based on the analytics for the biggest portfolios in the property sector.

Your tasks will include scouting, automating the process of acquiring geospatial and real estate data, harmonising and analysing the acquired data, and managing the data.

You can influence your responsibilities based on your interests.

You will be part of the SkenarioLabs Data Science team responsible for improving our software solutions for various customers and help us deliver great software while having fun in the process.

We work in a hybrid/remote team, and most of the team doesn’t come into the office every day (and not at all in these Covid times). We encourage asynchronous and written communication whenever it's possible. Working in a small team, you will have an opportunity to drive our engineering practices and product forwards, and contribute where your skills can really shine

Skills and qualifications we are looking for:

• Python and/or Java

• Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) 

• Team player with abilities for working independently and taking initiative 

• Working proficiency in English

  
  

We see as an advantage: 

• Experience with ETL processes 

• Experience in one of the following would be a big plus but not required (the main thing is that you are willing to learn about the industry!):

  • construction technology (building physics, construction economics, or building technology)

  • real estate economics

  • energy  technology

• Knowledge of geostatistics and spatial information (Postgis)
