About Us: 

Bantaba is a knowledge and funding platform for African startups. Despite a 22% entrepreneurship rate, 70% of startups in Africa lack access to talent and capital. This is the problem we are solving.

Our digital platform enables African Startups to access knowledge, network and capital from the African community living outside of Africa (the “diaspora”). Bantaba is part of the SSE Business lab and we were finalists in the Shift Capital competition. Read more about us on Breakit.se.

About the role:

We are looking for a Full Stack web developer intern who is ready to join our growing team. We are keen on meeting you, who is action-oriented, never afraid to try new ways, and always willing to pull their sleeves to  get their hand deity. The internship will be conducted  from our office in Stockholm. 

What you’ll be doing:

At Bantaba, you’ll be working in a fast-paced startup environment. 

Your main task is to develop and maintain Vue & Nodejs projects (our platform), and bring the product to the next level. You will be working directly under  the CTO.

Role requirements:

• Vue.JS 

• MySQL 

• Nodejs

• Experience using APIs and understanding HTTP, REST.

Meriting, but not required:

• TypeScript NestJs

• Git

• AWS

You will take on big responsibilities and have a strong influence on our tech stack. You will also learn a lot about emerging market startups, and yes you will be among the people that will shape the future of Africa’s startup ecosystem.
