About Matfra.no

Matfra.no is a digital marketplace that connects customers with local food producers. Our mission: to make local food available to everyone, everywhere. We launched our platform in the fall of 2020 and are currently accelerating our growth towards the position as a tech enabled gamechanger for the Norwegian food system. We are currently four full time employees - one in Harstad and three in Oslo. The tech has been developed by the digital bureau Feed in Oslo, also our second largest shareholder, and we are now making our first internal tech hire.

About the position

The candidate will hold a critical position in the company. You will be in charge of day-to-day improvements of the marketplace, with input from our Founder as well as the Marketing and Customer Success team. You will participate in and potentially lead larger sprints in cooperation with Feed/external team. There are possibilities of growing into a product manager / CTO position, or immerse yourself in a senior developer position, based on your preferences. The ideal candidate

• Is self-driven and able to establish her/his own routines

• Motivated by both participating in a startup, and making local food more available

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• Experienced in the following: HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Web servers. Experience with NodeJS, Graphql and MongoDB, Vercel, NextJS, Auth0 and Stripe will also be beneficial

• Can turn a design into semantic HTML and responsive CSS

• Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment experience

• Experience with agile software development and test-driven development

• Has 2+ years relevant experience. Fresh graduates are however encouraged to apply. :)

• Fluid in English or Norwegian, oral and written
