Redeem Tech is looking for a Market Researcher to join our team. As a Market Researcher, you will be responsible for providing the team with insights on the most popular trends within the whole industry, taking a special focus on our main competitors. That means she/he will be actively researching on social media, website, press, trending topics, analyzing information from marketing reports, and making recommendations based on their analysis. You will also be responsible for cooperating with the sales department, analyzing the buyer behaviour to provide the marketing team with insights on what products and services need more promotion, what is the most attractive product or service in a given month and how should the company leverage the opportunities of that matter.

Good To Know:

• We would like you to start as soon as possible, and we are looking for both part-time and full-time engagement, but preferably with a minimum of a 3-month attachment to the company. 

• It is a Commission based position for the first 3 months. After successful completion of these 3 months, there is a high possibility of offering a full-time position based on performance.

Responsibilities

Everyday responsibilities:

• Investigating market activity

• Analysing industry data and statistics

• Evaluating past performance of a product or service’s sales

• Assessing future trends

• Commissioning surveys

• Coordinating research projects

• Providing the company with weekly updates from each department 

KPIs 

Every Friday:

• Gather and publish updates from each department (internal task)

Every Tuesday:

• Provide a short analysis (including trends, recommendations and action plan) for social media promotions (based on the trending topics and news in the social media world - including competitors activities and successes)

Monthly report: by the 5th day of every month

• Provide an analysis, trends, recommendations and action plan for general promotion of our products and services, based on the information gathered from the sales department on the most attractive products, clients’ experiences and reviews and market needs.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, or similar), databases and MS Office

• Posses search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Working knowledge with CRM programs

• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc)

• Advise clients or senior management on the best ways to use provided data

• Strong analytical and critical thinking

• Deep knowledge of data warehousing, and mining

• Team player

• Good time-management skills
