Your role as a Frontend Developer Intern will be to create and improve views for our Smart Waste Management platform. You will be part of a dynamic team with a flat structure, giving you fast learning and a lot of responsibility. Help us to achieve sustainable waste management in every corner of the world by reducing CO2 emission and cost for operation. You will be supported by senior developers, we have plenty of experts divided across several fields such as microservices, scalable and modular programming. you will always have a assigned senoir developer to help you. However, you will also be able to challenge yourself with cutting edge technologies and own projects at WasteHero. The platform harness machine learning to optimize every aspect of waste management, such as route optimization and prediction of container fullness. The insights generated by our software helps our customer to; reduce container overflowing, reduce the number of overall collections, guide bin placement and optimize operational efficiency.

The position requires minimum 30 hours (+/- 5 hours depending on the circumstances) per week.

The position is unpaid, but we will be able to cover expenses like transport. We are always interested in hiring interns afterward, either as student worker or full time employees, so there are a lot of opportunities for work after the internship

Start date: ASAP

Duration: ~six months - we are willing to find a fitting solution if needed.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with working with technical and non-technical people

• Fluent in JavaScript, CSS and HTML

• Experience with responsive design and follow the recent web trends

• Feel comfortable with learning the following stack: Bitbucket, Jira, React, GraphQL, REST API, ant.design.

• You’re excited about designing intuitive front-end experiences
