To tell you a bit more about what we are looking for in a new colleague. It is important that you love challenging the status quo and thrive in a fast-moving environment with high uncertainty and a lot of experimentation as we are building new unique digital experiences for the financial sector and that requires rapid experimentation and learning. You must be able to communicate; ask questions and reflect on the work you are doing. We are a small team where everyone plays a vital role to the success of the company. It would be perfect if you knew how to push back on design suggestions by giving constructive feedback on technical difficulties in implementation and come with suggestions for improvements. As an example, “This feature would take 30 hours to implement but if we change X to Y it could be done in 5 hours”.

About the job. You will be developing, together with the rest of the team, modern backend applications. We work with a backend domain model where we provide websocket APIs to the web frontends and REST APIs for our customers. The backend is stateless and working in an asynchronous architecture drivin by services through RabbitMq, so there will be concurrency, scalability and race-conditions to consider. You will help us create integrations to our customers and all of our data suppliers. We are following the latest tech and currently working on .Net 5 (core) and continuously researching for things that can help us raise the quality or speed up the process. You will be comfortable working with Object-Orientation and do generic implementation even though each customer has different requests. We are using Git and Azure DevOps/Github Actions for our CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes as the hosting part.
