About the startup

UniFounder is a match-making platform for entrepreneurs.

Our goal is to simplify the often complex and frustrating process of finding co-founders. With our platform, we facilitate matches between entrepreneurial individuals in an effort to help the right people, projects, and promising ideas come together to drive innovation.    

This summer, we will be launching the new and improved version of our platform, which we believe will have a big impact on the startup landscape globally and establish UniFounder as the go-to place for co-founder match-making. 

About the role 

As UX/UI designer at UniFounder, you will join our Design & Development team during a 2-month internship where you will help build our new visual identity, and grow our platform through user-friendly and conversion-optimized customer journeys for first-time visitors and existing users alike from our three main segments of Founders, Startups and Specialists. 

Specifically, you will be the main responsible for creating/optimizing our visual identity, e.g. designing our new logo, finding new fonts, building a new palette around our main blue color. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the platform has a simple, elegant and intuitive design that makes for an aesthetically pleasing experience that is also conducive to conversions; from when a person signs up to our platform to them referring other people to join.

Each week, you can expect to:

• Come up with new ideas to improve the customer journey

• Implement designs alone or in collaboration with other people in the team

• Optimize existing UI

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure UX design based on user insights

  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with Figma

• A sharp eye and keen understanding of web design 

• A natural self-starter who can take initiative and who has a contributor mindset

• The adaptability to take on new graphic design tasks that may arise
