Help solve one of humanity's greatest challenges: High quality food for a rapidly growing urbanized population, produced sustainably. We are looking for a practically oriented and meticulous part time/student colleague to assist with practical growing tasks.

You will be part of the plant production team in one of our farms in Greater Copenhagen and responsible for tasks such as seeding, transplantation, harvest and continuous maintenance as well as assisting in plant experiments with measurements, troubleshooting and ad-hoc tasks in the farm.

You are meticulous, hands-on and used to practical work that involve both practical ability and a structured mind. You take ownership, ensure the job is well done, share ideas and work well both independently and with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. And you are passionate about making a difference for a better food system.

Main responsibilities:

• Plant growing tasks in the vertical farm(s)

• Ad-hoc tasks related to growing and operations

You:

• Used to practical work and solving practical challenges from professional work experience or from personal interest in working with plants. E.g. from the farm, greenhouse, vertical farm or similar

• Take ownership and work independently as well as in a team

• Meticulous, cares for detail and cleanliness

• Efficient and focused in practical work, good at planning

• Maybe studying to become an agronomist, plant scientist, gardener or have similar plant oriented aspirations

• Optional skills: Technical skills, data science, plant science, lab experience
