The job

Tjekvik seeks an experienced and ambitious product owner for our automotive eco-system team. As Product Owner you are responsible for planning and implementing new DMS (Dealer Management systems) integrations as well as managing existing integrations in our ecosystem to ensure they create value and are performant. Your stakeholders will be the eco-system engineering team, support and implementation team as well as DMS providers and aftersales representatives from automotive brands and dealerships in Europe. The job is a technical business position and require knowledge and interest in software integrations, data quality and DMS or similar planning systems.

The success criteria for the job are the number of automotive dealers connected, smooth operations and data quality.

Your role

As product owner for our eco-system team, you will work close together with our market teams to understand and prioritize the most important integrations to be added, reduce time to marked and establish close relationship to pilot customers and vendors. You will act as project manager during projects where we add new DMS system, coordinating all details with customer and vendor, project communication, testing and implementation on pilot customers. You will also be the ‘Expert’ when assessing new dealer management systems, as well as the go-to function for both customers and your colleagues in support and implementation, when things do not work as expected. Your closest colleagues on a day to day basis will be your fellow team members on the eco-system as well as the technical team lead.

Where

The position is either at our office in downtown Copenhagen or remote in Europe.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assessing and prioritizing new Dealer Management Systems to be integrated.

  • Build relationship with current and future DMS providers, customers and OEMs

  • Project manage the implementation projects from A-Z together with team, pilot customer and DMS vendors.

  • Continuously improving data processes to ensure fast and high-quality implementation and operation for optimal value creation.

  • Strategically develop the eco-system as a key offering to the market together with management.

  • Monitor performance and data quality and establish data quality procedures for continuous improvements.

  • Remove friction that limits the customer experience by having a deep understanding of our product, api’s and best practice within the Automotive aftermarket industry and the Tjekvik universe.

  • Build and maintain the eco-system area of our helpdesk together with support

  • Help grow our company to become the supplier of choice for the global automotive aftermarket.

  • Maintain the business case for the ecosystem team.

 

Qualifications

  • You have deep knowledge about DMS data and/or data integrations – you may work for a DMS vendor or an IT department at a large dealer group/ OEM or similar company. Experience with a portfolio of DMS systems and integrations is a plus.

  • You are motivated by working a wide portfolio of integrations and creating a structured and performant ecosystem of integrations.

  • You naturally communicate both with engineers and business stakeholders – internally as externally.

  • You are able to keep overview of multiple complex processes and have a “we’re not here only to do easy things” attitude.  

  • You are self-driven, take responsibility for big and small things and fancy working in a remote organisation.

  • You write and speak fluent English. German and any other European languages are a plus. We have customers and colleagues all over Europe.

  • As we are a scale-up company, you are a multi-skilled, relation building, great communicator and tech-savvy person that efficiently works while hanging on the side of the rocket.
