Help build the future of corporate banking apps

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving difficult problems and building quality, intuitive, and high performing web applications. 

You will work in the development department where we have 3 dedicated teams that deliver platform and functionality to our customers. You will be working in one of the feature teams reporting to the team lead.

You are

• Willing to learn, Cardlay has both web applications and mobile apps in production so it would be great if you have a specialty in web development and are willing to contribute in other areas

• Happy to collaborate, it’s important to share knowledge, you should be comfortable coding with others and work cross-team with product managers, designers & stakeholders

You will

• Develop features in one or more layers of the stack.

• Participate in the entire product life cycle

• Help product owner mature epics and stories 

• Help UX and Designers with options for implementation

Among your responsibilities will be to

• Move new features into production 

• Ensure quality deployments together with your team

• Make sure your code is maintainable, testable and secure 

• Help the team and department ensure platform is stable and bug free  

You must have:

• Strong experience with Web development

• Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks like React/Vue

• Knowledge of modern cross-browser HTML5+, ES6+, and CSS3+

• Interest in software architecture

• Desire to write automated tests

It would be a plus if you have: 

• Experience with Typescript

• Experience with mobile development

• Interested in cross-platform tools

• Knowledge within Swift, Kotlin, or Java
