What we are looking for

We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Project Manager. If you are ambitious, organized, detail oriented, kind and love to make a real difference in peoples’  lives, then this may be the perfect role for you. We need:

• hands-on experience in project management, including planning, tracking, resource allocation, reporting and budgeting

• ability to manage multiple projects

• ability to motivate and inspire your colleagues to hit the milestones

• must be detail oriented, function well in granularity, love processes, structure, and staying true to task

• understand profit margins, ROI and ROE

• ability to be bold in working with marketing and team members to deliver the best product brands, sales materials and community materials

• a degree in a related field and at least 4 years experience

• an excellent grasp of English, Finnish is an asset

• a valid work permit for Finland is required

This role is a combination of delivering projects and services. As an impact, not for profit organization, our work must be practical, meaningful and fast paced. We are an agile, get things done kind of team so you must be skillful in balancing structure with speed.

What you will be doing

Project Management:

• ensure  won projects are planned according to requirements;

• ensure all projects have a project plan;

• lead small project teams

• track progress of projects

• deliver on time and budget

Service Delivery:

• ensure  contracts and tenders are planned according to requirements;

• track and report KPIs and other relevant data to ensure a successful result

• communicate with partners and customers to ensure expectations are well known and that we are delivering the highest quality results. 

Public Funding

• monitor funding mechanism that align to our core mission (government tenders are normally in Finnish and Swedish, you will need to navigate these)

• build the ROI and ROE of identified funding opportunities

• support the team to package tender offers for funding opportunities

• support reporting requirements, maximizing successes, impact and financial

• liaise with public funding partners, agencies to ensure a transparent, open communication relationship
