Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced  Senior Frontend Developer to join our multicultural engineering team in our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark. 

At Monsido, we use many different programming languages and frameworks. We try to always select the best language/platform for the job. Therefore, among other things, we use JavaScript and TypeScript both as a frontend language and a backend language.

At Monsido, you have the chance to learn and use several different programming languages and frameworks, so we can promise you will never be bored.

You will be responsible for

• Working on developing new features

• Planning and shipping features

• Fixing routine bugs

• Ensuring the service is fast and reliable

• Working with tools like Github, Jenkins CI, gulp, webpack, Jasmine, Protractor, Puppeteer and NodeJS

Things we believe are meaningful for this role

• To be able to hit the ground running, we consider it preferable that you bring 5+ years of experience in frontend development

• You are proficient in both reading and writing in English - this is a must as all internal communications are conducted in English

• Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Good knowledge and working experience with one of the frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue etc.)

• Have a good eye for visual quality

• HTML and CSS experience

• At least a bit of knowledge in NodeJS

• Experience with AngularJS is a huge bonus

• If selected, you’ll have an Initial 30 minute phone interview with someone from our People & Culture team to get the ball rolling

• You’ll be presented with a coding test, which takes around 1.5 hours to complete

• If the result looks promising, you’ll be invited to an online video interview with our CTO and Lead Frontend Developer

• Short follow up meeting with our CTO to clarify expectations and follow up questions

• Reference call - be prepared to provide us with 1-2 references if you reach this stage
