The aquaculture industry is the rapidly growing food source and livelihood for billions of people across the globe. Today, the aquaculture industry is facing huge challenges: scalability, sustainability and primitive production methods. Our vision is to drive sustainable growth of the aquaculture industry by using satellite images to turn raw data into actionable insights via our API or cloud-based platform. We are currently seeking a Front-end / Dashboard developer to build the corresponding systems required to visualize data from our InfluxDB database through dashboards for our customers, running in AWS. You will be working with the CTO and a back-end developer on choosing the frameworks and technologies to be used for the front-end. You will be responsible for dashboard design, deployment, advanced data visualization, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance and documentation.
As a early tech hire, you will have a key role in spearheading the product initiatives as well as helping grow the tech team. We want a key player in the expansion of Dynaspace’s global visibility, reach and brand. Candidates having curiosity and interest in startup culture, aquaculture and sustainability will contribute well to our mission.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Choose architecture and develop dashboard frontend, ensure quality of code and product, deployment, analytics, environment management
Develop implementation plans and timelines
Maintain documentation for design and development
Cultivate an understanding of Dynaspace’s value proposition
We expect you to get involved in the product development beyond tech topics - attending meetings with various stakeholders, providing relevancy on features, design of product, etc
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or similar
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (you will be working with a multicultural team)
Experience with InfluxDB or similar relational time-series databases and related visualization tools
Experience building dashboards and data warehousing applications
Well versed with Git
Experience coding complex queries using Flux or similar
Experience with Vega or equivalent and AWS would be a big plus

Competitive salary (based on candidate’s experience level) with share options
The role is structured as a permanent position and the candidate will be based in Oslo. However, we can also offer a remote setup for the right candidate
Dynaspace will provide all necessary equipment (laptop, monitor, etc)
We are in growth phase and the right candidate will have the opportunity to advance into a product manager role in due course
