Minut is a technology company that helps hosts be good neighbours. We offer products and services for the short term rental market that help guests, hosts and neighbors get along. Easy-to-use, quick to install, and affordable, our products ensure sharing homes is good for everyone, including communities.

In 2019, Minut secured $8 million in Series A funding, and is now one of Sweden’s most promising start-ups in the HAAS (Hardware as a Service) sector. The company consists of 35 technologists, engineers, inventors and social scientists, from eight nationalities, working across Sweden, the UK, Ireland, France, and the US. 

What you’ll do

• Have a big impact on the development of our state-of-the-art web application written in React.

• Assist the marketing team with our brand new Webflow-based website.

• Build web front-ends with focus on high performance, delightful user experience and intuitive design.

• Write clean, understandable, robust, and sustainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping.

• As a part of a small team, you’re willing to get your hands dirty with a wide range of problems, working on a multitude of interesting things while collaborating tightly with the team.

Who you are

• You have worked professionally with software development for at least 2-3 years

• You are well versed in at least one frontend framework (React/Vue/Svelte/Elm)

• You are creative and see solutions, when others see problems.

• You navigate the the fundamental web tech stack with ease (npm/yarn/node/html/css/javascript/typescript)

• You have a ‘learn-it-all’ mindset, meaning that your curiosity leads you to constantly explore and teach yourself new things.

• You love building applications that your users love to use <3

• You don’t hesitate to ask questions, ask for questions, share your knowledge and help other colleagues.

• You can drop by our office in Malmö once or twice a week.

Tech

We don’t expect you to have experience with every technology we use, but we do expect solid JavaScript fundamentals and experience working with at least one frontend framework such as React, and ideally with TypeScript.
