Marketing Department Overview 

You will be joining the marketing team which consists of 8 individuals who operate and produce various content for the Exxentric website, 6 social media accounts, partner and influencer network communications, advertisements campaigns, and more. The content marketing team in particular is responsible for driving consumption of flywheel training related content produced by our users but also by the internal content production team.

Opportunity Overview

The Role 

Exxentric seeks a Sports Marketing Intern to assist the social media focused marketing team. You will primarily work closely with our Community Manager with tasks such as monitoring our social media accounts and interact with our users on social media, creative ideation to help growing our #ExxentricFam and social media presence, and various other tasks depending on how your skills match our needs:

Example Tasks 

• Actively engage with our users across our social media platforms

• Assist with content creation and delivery for our social media accounts 

• Social Media Content coordination and administration 

• Monitor sports seasons and events, and create sport specific content 

• Monitor and suggest updates of Twitter content for our application pages 

• Suggest ways of optimizing social media content processes, come up with new ideas, try new things and new channels! 

About You 

We believe that you’re a sports culture native, who enjoys engaging in sports and has a strong understanding of various sport specific training. Probably, you are currently studying Sports Marketing or Sports Science, or/and have a deep interest in combining your sports interest with a marketing career. 

Requirements

• Excellent writing and communication skills in English

• Detail oriented with an eye for good creativity 

• Ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously 

• Excellent understanding of sports and strength training terminology 

• Student of sports marketing and/or sports science, or have a degree in similar relevant fields

  
  

Extra/Bonus 

• Experience in community management and/or customer service, ideally carried out in English

• Excellent writing and communication skills in Swedish 

• Excellent writing and communication skills in any additional language

• Talent for combining audio and visuals, maybe you’re even a TikTok’er yourself!

• Experience in working with content creation for either a company, freelancing, or other projects

  
  

The internship period can start this summer, or early this fall. Minimum duration period is three months. For an internship extending beyond that, you may get a bonus salary. For a successful candidate, there may be chances of employment after the internship period.
