We’re now recruiting a backend developer to join our team in central Stockholm - join us!

Backend Developer - Python

Your role will be to take progressive ownership of all backend functions related to engagement in the app: starting with transactional emails and push notifications, then moving onto algorithms for improved recommendations, analytics pipeline and trigger logic, and machine learning pipeline for personalised user engagement.

Proficiency in Python is a prerequisite. Knowledge of GCP, kubernetes, docker, elasticsearch, bigquery, sql and no-sql paradigms, REST api design, test-driven development, machine learning/deep learning and react are appreciated bonuses. A generous github account or previous engagement in open source projects are highly regarded.

As a person, we would like you to be social, creative and autonomous. You find social apps a fascinating topic, enjoy solving complex problems and learning on the way.

You would join a small, agile and very experienced team and we expect to guide you into our backend landscape until you reach full proficiency. We have our office at WeWork in central Stockholm, with its own yoga room and nice lunch places all around.
