Role

As a Frontend Developer Intern, you'll work on creating solutions to democratize access to coaching for all. Your work will be in close collaboration with a top-tier AI expert and ex-Amazon software engineer, our CTO Tiago Sampaio. Your main task will be to help in the development of features that automate our processes, such as working on the admin side of chatbot implementation, scheduling, using variables in the chatbot. Potentially, if those features are completed, you could also work on the AI/NLP features of the chatbot.

 

Requirements

  • NodeJS, Javascript, Bootstrap, JQuery, Handlebars or Angular, UX.

  • Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

 

Nice to have

  • Asynchronous functions, Express or another API router, Handlebars or another templating engine, AWS knowledge, Continuous Development Pipelines, Unit Testing, Integration testing.

  • MongoDB.

  • Experience building Slack, or Microsoft Teams bots.

  • Natural Language Processing.

  • Text Processing techniques for sentiment analysis, context identification.

  • Experience with Botkit or WitAI or DialogFlow.

 

Our CTO

Tiago has 11 years of experience in the roles of Solutions Architect, IT Management, Software Dev, Product Owner, Data Science, and DevOps. He left Amazon European HQ to join Panda Training as a CTO. https://www.linkedin.com/in/trsampaio/

Hours: flexible, ideally at least 15h/week.

Duration: 3 months internship, potential continuation after that.

Starting day: ASAP.

Location: remote.

Payment: free for the trial period of 3 months, afterward competitive.
