MØNSIEUR Aus KBH is looking for a motivated and dedicated Purchasing and Sourcing Intern for our Design and Production team in Copenhagen.

MØNSIEUR Aus KBH is a Copenhagen-based menswear brand that focuses on sustainability. We aim to minimize our environmental impact by producing garments on demand and using certified natural materials while introducing athleisure to the sustainable industry. We are now looking for a committed Production and Sourcing intern with knowledge in purchasing and logistics in companies within the fashion and lifestyle industry. 

In the job as Purchasing and Sourcing intern, you will be searching for purchasing, production and manufacturer partners. You will have an essential role in raising MØNSIEUR Aus KBH’s production to a higher level. 

Tasks You will be responsible for:

• Identifying and assess potential partnerships for fabric, trims and production in line with our design DNA and with a focus on sustainability.

• Negotiating prices, timelines, MOQ and payment terms with manufacturers.

• Developing and archiving of fabrics, prints, lap dips, trims etc.

• Participating in cost meetings and cost options for margin improvement.

• Developing strong partnerships with our manufacturers.

• Managing inventory issues and the logistical implications throughout the supply chain.

• Follow-up on samples, production, and all deliveries from suppliers.

• Responsible for data on fabric, trims, supplier info etc. in our system are correct and always updated.

• Order placement and follow-up.

• Various ad-hoc tasks

The position refers directly to our Head of Design and Production.

Your profile

We are looking for an intern with a positive mindset that is eager to contribute to the development of our design and production team. We are a growing company and being able to multitask without losing perspective is a required skill. You will have a clear responsibility to develop and optimize our supply chain and the connected quality and costs. We emphasize the following:

• You are student in Purchasing Management or similar with great understanding that price, quality and sustainability are important, but it also matters a lot how quickly a supplier can deliver the goods. 

• You have passion and keen interest in athleisure and menswear.

• You are strong in numbers and have strong negotiation skills.

• You work independently and structured.

• You are ambitious in terms of your own abilities and know how to keep a cool head in busy situations.

• You are positive, cooperative and then you are good at having a lot of balls in the air.

• You are a good communicator and master English in both writing and speaking.

• You can work independently and feel comfortable structuring your own time with no oversight.

• You are reliable, accountable and comfortable with working remotely.
