Farmable was inspired by a team of Norwegian fruit farmers who experienced first-hand the lack of digitization in their daily farming operations. Globally, there are 75 million farms which grow the fruits and vegetables our growing population consumes. Today, in-field operations such as spraying, fertilizing and harvest activities are often tracked by paper, spreadsheets or offline technologies.

Farmable enables field operators and farm managers to efficiently track, monitor and record operations through mobile phones while generating a database of farm records to simplify reporting to authorities and marketing organizations.

About the program

The summer internship will run for 8-12 weeks at our Oslo office. However, remote working option is also available. We are providing opportunities for students who want to apply their knowledge in a professional setting alongside diverse international colleagues.

We are looking for motivated, ambitious students who are curious about working in an international company. You will be given responsibility and will receive a variety of challenging and meaningful tasks. At Farmable, we believe that the best internship experience is when the new tools, processes, ideas, or perspectives that you bring become valuable and applicable to the company later. Therefore, you will be given real responsibility and interesting projects with an assigned mentor to ensure you have the tools, resources, and support needed to achieve your and our professional and personal goals.

This is a paid internship period, starting from the middle of June and lasting until August. * dates are flexible

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern - Germany:

• Develop and execute organic content ideas for website, social media, email marketing, and other marketing channels.

• Audit social platforms and current activity providing technical assessment and recommendations.

• Support data-driven marketing efforts through research and testing.

• Graphic/Digital Design skills would be an added advantage

As a Farmable Marketing intern, you should have

• Passion for what you do

• Desire to learn by doing

• Recently graduated or with 1-2 years left of your studies

• Background in Marketing, Design or Business

• Skills in graphic/digital design or digital marketing, and looking to apply them within the context of our Marketing Strategy

• Native or bilingual working proficiency in German and English required.

The perfect candidate has

• A mind exploding with curiosity, is knowledge-seeking, and loves to take responsibility for projects

• Prior work experience at a technology or product company, or startup

• The ability to take charge and initiative related to graphic/digital design or digital marketing
