We are looking to hire a visionary Product Architect to take ownership of the Fuzu platform architecture. You would be joining an ambitious and high-performing team of professionals with experience from working in fast-growing startups in Europe, Africa, and the US.

All great software products start from a solid architecture that guides how the platform evolves over time and responds to changing needs of the customers. As a Product Architect, you will own our architecture and lead the process of finding how the new product features and optimisations should be optimally designed and engineered.

In this position, you will:

• Report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and lead the design of the software architecture in close cooperation with the Head of Engineering and CPO

• Own the Fuzu data architecture and related taxonomies

• Work closely with product management in evaluating technical feasibility/RoI and participate in prioritisation of product investments

• Propose solutions and prepare technical specifications (logical diagrams, data schemas, high-level algorithm designs, technical concepts, etc.) for product sprints

• Work closely with the product design and engineering teams in sprint planning and identification of optimal design and technical solutions

What we expect from you:

• Minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience from technical (and commercial) product management, software development, system design, or related fields

• Architecture experience - you have experience from developing software architecture for complex SaaS platforms

• Data models and schemas - you have experience from managing data schemas and taxonomies as well as from aligning the evolution of the data architecture with the business needs

• Data- and end-user driven approach – you are able to evaluate the impact and technical feasibility of the proposed solutions and to align technical specifications with business and end-user needs

• Technical specifications - you have experience from developing technical specifications and logical frameworks

These are considered a plus:

• Experience from projects including machine learning (e.g. data classification, natural language processing, recommender systems) components

• Programming experience (for understanding the thinking process of a developer)
