As a Social Media Intern at Barkalot you will identify, conceptualize, design and execute campaigns to educate and inform our audience about our products and services to increase awareness, boost engagement and traffic and achieve marketing goals.

Your responsibilities

• design digital content for our social media channels

• help create content calendars, monitor social media channels and competitors

• produce short moving material (films, gifs), photos and written material

• take high quality product photos for our webshop and social media

• edit and grade photos and film clips based on our brand profile

Administrative

• creating visual presentations for your managers

• perform general support and administrative duties

We’re looking for someone who:

• has a strong command of social media, which includes engagement rates, hashtag usage, algorithms, content development, ways to optimise content and leverage - new and existing features of (especially Instagram and Facebook)

• has excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills in English 

• is highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative

• can plan your workday and estimate the time and resources needed for your projects 

• is humble and like working in a team - you’re receptive to feedback and you see rework and improvement as a fun challenge
