We are solving the cyber risk problem by arming cyber insurers with the right tools to predict, reduce and mitigate cyber attacks. We are a well-funded and growing startup in San Francisco currently working on remote-mode until the pandemic is over. We are an international and diverse team of 14, with a few team members in European time zones too!
Our platform encompasses predictive ML models, cyber defense agents, and user-friendly dashboards. We also dislike silos so you'll interact and contribute to products across our wide platform.

While this role is a remote one, we’d be happy to bring you to the US to connect with the team in person once the situation allows.
Design, develop, and contribute to infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (Kubernetes, GCP, Docker, Gitlab Autodevops)
Migrate and maintain our GCP configuration to infrastructure as code (IaC)
Automate and manage updates and patching on cloud and offline servers
Ensure site reliability
Provide input for architectural and infrastructural decisions
Work with code owners to maintain CI/CD pipelines across all projects
Interact closely with other engineers to enable them to ship quickly and cohesively
You enjoy figuring out what to work on and teaching yourself whatever you need in order to get things done
You take pride in being a subject matter expert while understanding the big picture
You enjoy the autonomy of planning out your own workweek and the freedom to act on your plans
You enjoy finding and creating the right balance of automation for your workday
2+ years experience as a DevOps/backend engineer
Deep understanding of cloud networking, DNS, and the HTTP standard
Be interested in volunteering for tasks outside of day-to-day responsibilities
Proven record of maintaining infrastructure uptime
